Are all 2 bedroom villas on the kidani side dedicated with the 3rd bathroom?

I am looking at my reservation for november and it does not say that it is dedicated, but i was not sure if that was the norm for kidani and therefore that is what you get in a 2 bedroom.

All of the 2-bedroom villas in Kidani Village have 3 baths. This includes the dedicated and lock-off units. If you reservation does not specify dedicated, you will have a lock-off.

The great thing about Kidani is that all the 1BR's have 2 bathrooms so no matter what type of 2BR you get it will have 3 bathrooms since the lockoff is made up of a connecting 1BR and studio. :thumbsup2

Thanks for this information; I guess the rep made my reservation incorrectly. I specifially asked for dedicated - even said it 3 times. Hopefull when I call tomorrow, there will still be availability.

Great!!!!!! I just looked at my AKV reservation I made on the 30th and it was supposed to be a dedicated room on the Kidani side. My reservation does not indicate "dedicated" either. Guess I will be calling tomorrow morning to make the change. I hope that there are still dedicated rooms available. I wonder how many other people were booked incorrectly.

It is possible with all the computer upgrades going on that the confirmations aren't showing the 2BR type. Hopefully that's just the problem with each of your reservations.

Just check our reservaton for next Thanksgiving and it does not say dedicated either. I guess I will be calling this morning.

I called MS this morning. My reservation was made correctly. The rep I spoke to said that the reservation does not specifically state dedicated, but she confirmed it is correct in the system.

I called this morning and we do have a dedicated two bedroom. It just does not show on the confirmation email I received.

so is Kidani the newer units or the older units? First bus pick up or last? Planning on going with DD and DGS (3) in August so will be making our ressie soon. And pools? Either one, Kidani or Jambo, have zero entry? Does one offer better savannah views than the other? We have stayed in the lodge, but not the villas yet. Planning on a split stay, just haven't decided which resort will follow ADV. I've got a strong hankering to return to our home resort, OKW, but haven't been to VWL in a while, love the BW area, and have NEVER been to HH. Maybe now is the time to do a DW/beach vacation:confused3 Decisions, decisions. The only definite is the AKV part, so that info would be much appreciated.:)

Kidani is the newer building. First pick up for the parks, and second for the DTD bus. Both pools have 0 entry. Kidani's pool has a great water play area for the kids. I think you can get a great savannah view from each, I've had them.

Bobbi:goodvibes

Kidani it shall be then, hopefully I will luck at the 7 month mark:thumbsup2

Just wondering why everyone is making sure they have a dedicated 2 bedroom vs. a lock-off? I am about to book our next trip and we're hoping to stay in a two bedroom at Kidani (first stay there) and I want to be sure I request the right thing. Thanks!

It really depends on the makeup of the people staying in the room. A lock-off will have an door to the outside in the second bedroom which many will small children won't want.

You need to let them know if you want a lock-off or dedicated when you call to reserve. They are booking categories.

A dedicated will have 2 queen beds in the second bedroom, where a lockoff has a queen and a double sofabed. The lockoff will have a kitchenette in the second bedroom (since it's a studio). There is usually more availability for dedicated, since they can split the lockoffs into separate 1 bedroom and studio reservations.

We had a Kidani dedicated for the last trip & loved it. The 2nd BR basically had an extra alcove where the entry door would normally have been - provided a perfect out of the way spot for the pack-n-play for naptime.

Our next trip (Nov 5-12) we requested a dedicated, but so far are still waitlisted. If it does not come through I'll just store all the extra luggage in front of the 2nd entry door to help keep the kids "in".
