AKV Jambo renovated rooms

Has anyone seen the newly renovated rooms at Jambo House yet?
We have 5 x nights in May and I have read that they are making the rooms a lot lighter and may have removed some of the 'character'.
Does anyone know if they are still on target to complete in May?

I've also been looking for pictures and information from someone who has stayed in a renovated room. We're staying for 8 nights in May, and I'd would love to hear about it. I've seen the artists rendering of the rooms, but a photo would be great!!!!!
