AKV-Jambo House

DH and I are headed to AKV-Jambo at the end of this month. We normally stay at BWV, but wanted to try something different.

We booked Magical Express for the first time. We normally get a rental car but didn't want to deal with the expense/hassle. Wondering how long it will take to get from the airport to the resort? Our flight gets in at 10:30 am on a Saturday. Looking for help from any AKV experts.

DH is a bit worried about not getting our checked bags ourselves. Anything I can tell him about experiences from anyone that has used magical express?

It can take a couple of hours from landing to resort check in. The buses wait for guests at the airport and they make other resort stops.

Luggage can take a few hours to get to your room so keep your carry on with you. Your luggage will be delivered to your room and you do not have to be there.

Disney and it's contractor have the luggage thing down to a science, millions of bags processed with very few issues.

We too are headed to Jambo in December. First time for us using "DME"..Just the two of us this trip...save some bucks and leave the driving to someone else. Learning all the ins and outs of Disney transportation. I have read "average" amount if time from landing is one and a half hours..we'll see! Enjoy Jambo..first time at Jambo, stayed at Kidani and enjoyed it!
