AKV-jambo house What is a std view?

I know someone around here has maps of where the views are for akv.
Could someone post a link.
I'm wondering for a 2 bed std view lock-off.

At Jambo House, most Standard Views face the Uzima Pool. There are some Savanna View rooms that have been reclassified as Standard View. Some of the front desk CMs at Jambo House don't know about the reclassification and will incorrectly say you were upgraded if you are assigned one of the former Savanna View rooms and you reserved a Standard View.

We had one of the reclassified rooms this past November. It was Studio (5372) that was almost to the end of the Kudo Trail.
We had a view of what many call a 'People Pen' from our room.

FYI: All 2-bedroom Villas in Jambo House are lock-offs.

We had one of the reclassified rooms this past November. It was Studio (5372) that was almost to the end of the Kudo Trail.

Twice in one year, we were assigned standard studio [reclassified] room 5384. That IS the last room on that side of the horseshoe. While it was a peaceful room and a dedicated studio, it was one long walk to go anywhere.

I spent last week in a standard studio, 5322, that overlooked the savannah and wasn't as far as the others mentioned previously.

I cannot remember our room number but we had booked a lock off with a standard view at Jambo and ended up with a partial view of the Sunset Savanna. It wasn't too far of a walk and it also close to the elevator.

Ok, so is everyone saying that standard rooms at Jambo will be either pool or partial savanna? No parking lot views, right??? I'm interested in studios, 1 BRs, and 2 BRs. Thanks.

The only Parking Lot Views at Jambo House will be in the Value Booking Category.

The Values at Jambo House are smaller rooms. They are also the only category of rooms that face the parking lot. The link below contains a map of the Jambo House rooms. The Values are those along the Ostrich & Giraffe Trails.

The Values in Jambo House were converted from Standard Hotel rooms.
The remaining DVC Rooms in Jambo House were converted from Deluxe Hotel rooms.

Kidani Village was built as DVC Villas from the ground up.

The parking lot rooms that were converted were given the Value status due to the size of the rooms and view.

When they built Kidani the rooms were larger, as they were not retro fitted from existing Hotel rooms.

You comment about the Values contradicts your first comment.

Actually there are only 2-2 bedroom value villas (lock offs, so a total of 4 villas) that have a parking lot view. You stand a pretty good chance of getting a savannah (sunset) or a pool view if you are able to book a value villa at Jambo, AKV. These value villas are smaller than the standard view or savannah view villas at Jambo, about 3 feet smaller.

Of course, someone has to get them.
