AKV, here we come. June 1-8 11/15.. Finally BACK!

Aww I love living with the land...probably because I was stuck working that ride all summer when I decided to spend a few months in FL after college to fufill my disney dream of working for the mouse...after that I decided the summers are TOO HOT in FL!!!

Wow, I never noticed that hidden Mickey in the Test Track ride photo before. I'll have to look at mine!

I have no idea where you took that one picture.

Lynn-Congrats on your Dean's List, I made it too this semester! Love Test Track it's my favorite in all of Disney World.

Congrats on making the dean's list, that's such a great honor after all your hard work.

I was inducted into our honor society last year and it's such a great feeling to know that hard work does pay off.

The rest of the day at epcot sounds awesome, love the pic of your hubby in the mad hatter hat.

Looking forward to hearing about the SWW:goodvibes

What an awesome Hidden Mickey on TT! My daughter is going to flip. Thanks :goodvibes

Yes, Tim looked crazy. But it was SO funny!

Congratulations to making it on the Dean's Honour List! I hope you keep it up. You may say that you are nerdy, but that is not a bad thing. Remember nerds have invented everything from electricity to iphones and were would we be without them? Also nerds make more money. :thumbsup2

Great update, looks like you guys had a great trip!

I must say that I am a bit disturbed by your update, because it appears we may have married the same man lol.
First it was the boba fett helmet, and now.....

Our DHs seem to gravitate towards the same stuff!!

A little bit crazy and a little bit scary! lol :scratchin

You were finding all sorts of Hidden Mickeys!!! I am impressed! I am so oblivious when I am there, I never see any of them!

I love all the Hidden Mickeys you find! I'm like Jackie...totally oblivious when I'm walking around. :rotfl: I try really hard to look for them...but never seem to notice them right in front of my face.

Chefs looked really good! I haven't been in a few years...I think it's time to head back!

Lynn I too am a nerd. I :lovestruc Living with the Land. I was kind of disappointed though in April because they didn't have a pumpkin in a mickey shaped mold to show the kids. We saw one years ago but they don't remember it and my DD4 wasn't born yet LOL

Congrats on making the Dean's List!

Love the TT pictures. I never noticed the Hidden Mickey either! DH was looking at your post over my shoulder, and he even had to point it out to me. :rotfl:

Congrats on your A and 4.0 and Dean's List, girl!! You should be way proud of yourself!!
Great update-- Test Track at night is amaaaaazing! Just like BTMRR at night. I think the dark makes it so much more exciting. Love Tim's facial expressions in the PP pictures haha.

Congratulations on making the Dean's list!!!

And I like Living with the Land too. I've been told by my students that I am weird since I read for pleasure lol So yeah, I'm a nerd too.

I wanted to get a snack, so when we made it to Germany, I bought one of those pretzels. YUM!

IMG_8182.jpg

Ya know, it's funny, when I think of a nice light snack, I too look for something bigger than my head. :lmao: BTW, just as I was about to post this, I previewed it and noticed how you're holding your pretzel... was that meant for Tim or us? :rolleyes1 :goodvibes

Wow Lynn, you are really freakin observant! I've never ever noticed all those hidden Mickeys! Not on TT or LwtL :thumbsup2

Love that Mad Hatter picture of Tim :rotfl:

Your TT pictures came out great, I love that ride. I should take pictures next time I go on, too.

:lmao: at Tim in the Mad Hatter's hat!

Lynn, you are the BEST hidden Mickey finder ever!! WOW!! Incredible.
And congrats on the dean's list! I know you work hard!! I'm glad it paid off!!

Anywho, love the pics!! I have those Mickey flip flops you got in black. They're a part of my tr, so keep your eyes open for them!! ;)

Can't wait for more, Lynn!!

Ha! That Mad Hatter hat is seriously creepy!!!! I'm jealous of your observational skills. I'm HORRIBLE at finding hidden Mickey's. I looked at the shower curtain and go, "Hey, Aaron, it's a hidden Mickey!" Uh, yeah...apparently that wasn't so hidden. :lmao:

Were you? That is so cool! I would love to work down there and do the college program.

Wow, I never noticed that hidden Mickey in the Test Track ride photo before. I'll have to look at mine!

Oh, I took the picture right outside of the photopass area in Test Track. It is a picture of one of the lockers. I was trying to find some hidden mickeys inside, but I did not.

Lynn-Congrats on your Dean's List, I made it too this semester! Love Test Track it's my favorite in all of Disney World.

That's so awesome, Tori! Good for you!

HAHA, I call myself a nerd because my BIL teases me all the time about getting As, lol. It's just our little joke.

OH my gosh, shut up! That is so crazy, lol!!! Thanks for sharing those pics!

You were finding all sorts of Hidden Mickeys!!! I am impressed! I am so oblivious when I am there, I never see any of them!

Once you start spotting them, it gets easy. Hey, I see them in my sleep when I stay in Disney. It's crazy, lol.

I love all the Hidden Mickeys you find! I'm like Jackie...totally oblivious when I'm walking around. :rotfl: I try really hard to look for them...but never seem to notice them right in front of my face.

You have to try it, Emily!

Aww, that stinks! We saw a couple of them, but they were not fully grown yet.

Congrats on making the Dean's List!

He is crazy. I forgot to make some sort of expression.

Congratulations on making the Dean's list!!!

And I like Living with the Land too. I've been told by my students that I am weird since I read for pleasure lol So yeah, I'm a nerd too.

Thanks! YAY for being smart.

Ya know, it's funny, when I think of a nice light snack, I too look for something bigger than my head. :lmao: BTW, just as I was about to post this, I previewed it and noticed how you're holding your pretzel... was that meant for Tim or us? :rolleyes1 :goodvibes

OOOOH no!! I totally did not mean that. I had like 500 things in my hands, lol! Sorry about that.

Wow Lynn, you are really freakin observant! I've never ever noticed all those hidden Mickeys! Not on TT or LwtL :thumbsup2

Love that Mad Hatter picture of Tim :rotfl:

HAHA! You will start spotting them. Once you start to see a couple, they get easier to spot.

He is such a goof, lol!

Your TT pictures came out great, I love that ride. I should take pictures next time I go on, too.

:lmao: at Tim in the Mad Hatter's hat!

You should!!! HAHA, it's not the most flattering picture, lol! Kind of creeps me out.

Lynn, you are the BEST hidden Mickey finder ever!! WOW!! Incredible.

Hi!!! I cannot wait for you to start your TR!! The flip flops are so cute and comfy!

Thanks!!

HAHA, ya think? lol! Aww, no, they are easy to find... just takes some practice. You can do it.

DAY 4

This was the day that Timmy was waiting for! It was an EMH morning at DHS, so we were up bright and early. The sun was hiding behind the clouds, so it was a nice comfortable day. When we got down to the bus stop, our bus came in less than 5 minutes. We were lucking out all week with buses. While we were on the bus we met the cutest family. There were 3 kids and a mom. The kids instantly fell in love with all of Tim's SW pins, lol. One of the kids, a little girl, kept trying to get Tim to trade one of his pins. She tried like 10 times, lol. Poor kid. We told her that Tim does not trade the pins he wears on his lanyards. We did have our traders, though, so we let her look through them. While she looked through the pins we were talking to the mom. Her husband was in line waiting to get an autograph FP.

Then it happened... we were like 5 minutes away from DHS and the bus broke down, LOL!!! Tim was like OH NO!! HAHA! Thank God it was only down for like a minute. HAHA! He almost had a heart attack along with all of the other SW fans on the bus. I thought it was funny.

When we got to DHS, we said bye to the little kids and the mother and went on our way to get in line.

Here is Tim sporting his SW pins.
IMG_8198.jpg

And this is how crowded the lines were when we got there... not as bad as I had expected it to be.

IMG_8199.jpg

We did not get to see the Storm Troopers on top of the roof. I guess they do not show them during EMH. Anyway, when we got in, our first stop was Boba's Bounty. I heard that the store gets insane and that people line up....ummm, yeah, maybe for the first weekend, but umm... we were like the only people heading that way....

IMG_8200.jpg

IMG_8201.jpg

Now, what was cool about the streets being empty was the noises. I was able to hear the sounds on the streets. I never knew they existed. You can hear the subway, cars, and people talking. It was really cool.

So when we got to the store, there was no line, LOL! We were like the first people in there.

IMG_8202.jpg

Tim checking out the pins.
IMG_8203.jpg

This painting was really cool. We talked to one of the CMs while looking at the paintings. He was really cool. He had an Australian accent. Tim and him became great friends that weekend, lol.

IMG_8204.jpg

Here is the painting that Tim fell in love with. Do you think he ended up buying it?
IMG_8205.jpg

Well, he did end up getting some LE pins and and he had me pick out a Vynilmation pin set for him.

I left the store and went and grabbed a FP for TSM. I met a a Disser and her little boy along the way. She was so sweet and her little boy was adorable. Later I ended up snapping a picture of him in the parade by accident, lol.

After I grabbed the FP, I went and got in line for Storm Trooper Donald. He just so happened to be the first one to come out. I texted Tim to tell him that I was in line and that Donald would be the first to come out. Five minutes later Tim met up with me. He showed me the mystery pin in the vynilmation pack. He was happy with it..
IMG_8207.jpg

While we were waiting in line, we saw the cutest little kids walk by in costumes..
IMG_8208.jpg

and here came Storm Trooper Donald!

IMG_8211.jpg

Tim was so happy, lol!
IMG_8212.jpg

Here are some photopass pics.

Photo0098.jpg

After we met up with Donald, we decided to go hit up some more characters. I have to tell you guys how cool the atmosphere is in the park. It is so fun and warm. It's hard to explain. It reminds me of the atmospheres at like the P&PP and MNSSHP.

We saw this girl walking around. She was so pretty. I do not know here name, sorry. lol.
IMG_8213.jpg

Tim found some guy dressed up... at one point I saw him walking around and asked Tim who he was, thinking it was a character. Tim told me it was just some dude dressed up, haha.

IMG_8214.jpg

Tim got in line with some characters while I went into one of the stores to get an umbrella just in case it started to rain. Well you had to wait in a special line in the store and a CM would direct you to the next open cashier. I knew that the umbrellas are kept at the counters, so I just went right in the special line. I was second in line behind some lady. She is directed to the next cashier, so I waited to be directed next, which was like 1 minute later. So, I go to the cashier and ask for an umbrella. As the CM was getting it I hear, "Excuse me Mam( I hate being called that) but the line is over there", from the lady who I was just behind. I looked over to her and very calmly said, "I was in line." So then she goes on about how people have been cutting in line all day and blah blah blah while I paid her no mind, so she just sat there talking to herself, haha. I am one of those people who minds my business at Disney and never do I act like the Disney police. So, I bet she felt like an idiot, haha!

When I met back up with Tim, he was in line waiting for some character. He showed me the character he had just met... I think he is a guard or something.
