Awesome update!!! I love the singing in the rain umbrella!! I found that back in 08 and it's now a picture spot for me every time! My brother loved that star wars shop! He was in heaven!

I know! It is a must photo spot, lol! Tim could spend hours in that store, lol.

Great afternoon at DTD-- Pizza Planet is our favorite CS in DHS!! The Donald pictures are terrific-- we love the animation class. Nice way to get out of the heat.
I totally agree on the bagginess of Disney clothes. I bought a tank top at CA Adventure in 2007 and was surprised that the Medium looked like it would fit-- I never wear a medium, usually a small, XS at some places! Get home and double-check the tag-- it's a youth medium! Fits perfect lol.

Yeah, Pizza Planet is our favorite CS in DHS as well. The clothes are soo baggy. Glad I am not the only one who thinks that, lol!

YAY! Congratulations on your A! I love the kissing and afterward pics! Too funny! And we love the Singing in the Rain umbrella too - I make Emma pose there every time (sweet girl, she still humors me). I skipped Star Tours this time too because it makes me sicky too. I can ride TOT and RNR all day, but for some reason ST just affects me differently.

PS - The other books WERE still there at the DVC kiosk. The other one disappeared pretty quickly because I checked on July 9 - not too long after you were there!

Thanks! Yeah, Star Tours makes me feel blah. It is the only ride that does that to me. I can go on teacups all day long and even do Mission Space, lol.

Well, I knew I should not have posted it. Someone probably stole it or threw it away. It's a shame because the other stories that people wrote in there were really cool.

Hey Lynn, great update!
I couldn't agree more with the ridiculous sizes at Disney! I am by no means a skinny girl (I usually buy M or maybe S at most store) but I find that I have to go down to XS for Disney clothes like tshirts. I really feel badly for girls who actually are very tiny because they would not be able to wear most Disney clothes - well maybe kids!

Weird enough, just before I read your TR DH was telling me useless star wars stuff and was telling me about how cool boba fett was. Then I read your post with Tim with the boba fett helmet! Lol I think the first time I brought DH to Disney back in 2007 he stuck that helmet on my head in the store!

Yeah, I know that you mean. They run big! Like super big.

I love walking through OMD....a lot of it reminds me of visits from when I was there as a child and toys from my childhood too....my lunchbox is in there!!!

CONTINUED....

So, after we left DHS, we went back to the resort to take a mini break before heading to DTD.

I took some pics while I walked around before heading back to the room. I love these birds.

I used my zoom lens later in the trip and they turned out great!

By the time I got back to the room, Tim was ready to go, so we left for DTD. My first stop was Tren-D, of course!

Here was the cute window display.

Now, I started to look for the dress I wanted right away. Of course they did not have it, so I decided to go check The World of Disney Store. Well, that was not going to happen. It was DOWN pouring like crazy, lol! It was no big deal. I decided to do just look at some of the other clothes in Tren-D. Tim was over in the pin store having a grand time, lol. Here is what I ended up buying.

A really cute top, flip flops, and a dress, but not the one that I really wanted.

Oh, and I also picked up an umbrella, lol! With my umbrella handy, I ran over to the pin store to meet up with Tim. Here is the lovely rain, lol.

We hung out in there and chatted with some CMs while we waited for the rain to ease up. It only took like ten minutes and then we were off to Epcot, but we stopped at Goofys first. Tim made a rice crispy treat.

The plan was to walk over to SSR and hop on a bus, but it was still raining, so we just took a bus to the Yacht Club. I love walking through that resort. Maybe one day we will stay there. Anyway, I was so glad that we had a change of plans because when we walked outside onto the Boardwalk, I found a photopass guy.

The walk over was great!! Tim found his buddy when we went through International Gateway.

Our first stop was Chefs de France! We were hungry. But before we went, O stopped for another favorite photopass location.

And then I found my favorite photopass guy outside the restaurant!!

Up next... Food porn and we got to see that cute little rat!

Great update! I loved Tren-D! I walked in there and saw so many cute things but I didn't end up buying anything. I've already made a disney souvenir money savings account! I love all of the photopass pics!!! One of the only things I wish that I would've spent more time doing is photopass. My mom totally wasn't into it so I didn't really get that many done Next trip I am stopping at every one I see! I wanna pre-order the cd and get a bunch of pics done! I am definitely going to have to make a stop at beach club next time! I've never resort-hopped, even though i've always wanted too! I went to the poly this past trip and I love just being able to walk around and enjoy the scenery!

Gorgeous photopass pics! I think my favourite is the boardwalk one but the France pics are also very unique - not your typical castle sort of photopass pics. Do you guys purchase the CD everytime?

OMG I tried that dress on in May! lol too funny.

I will share a tip I learned. If you are ever in TrenD and there are no fitting rooms available, you can use the rooms in Team Mickey - and vice versa. This is what the friendly CM told me when I was waiting to try on stuff.

Funny. I almost bought the same flip flops but in black, and the skirt that is like your purple dress. I didn't buy the flip flops as I bought some Mickey Mouse sneakers, and I didn't buy the skirt since I didn't know what I'd wear it with.

I can't tell you how many times I looked at the purple and pink dress when we were down there! I really liked it!

Oh my gosh...I adore Tren-D! I could spend hours in there just looking at all the cute details. Not to be a copycat, but if they still have those flip flops next month, I am SO buying them! I love the dress too.

I've never walked through the IG, but we will on our next trip. We'll be hitting up Epcot in the morning and then walking to the BC for breakfast at Cape May Cafe. I can't wait!

Don't you just love the boardwalk area??? I stayed at BCV last year and loved being able to walk right over to Epcot. Plus the pool is totally worth splurging on the resort!

I have been off of Disboards for a while because I get so consumed by everybodies trip reports. While in Colorado I talked my DH into taking our three kids in December 2011, yeah the power Disney food. I started lurking on your TR last night and you had me at hello. You two are so cute and fun. I love how you make us feel lime we are the with you experiencing every detail. You also got me excited about school I start back on September to get my Masters and was dreading it until I started reading how good it feels to make A's. BTW co grats on your A in pre-calc. I can't wait to hear more of you adventures in Disney, keep the updates coming.

Didn't you just love all those downpours the week we were there? We just doned our ponchos and moved on. I have never been in TrenD, I love the items you picked up, esp the top. That photopass pic of you and Tim in from of the fountain in France is my fav so far.
