Yes. Last soft goods refurbishment was in 2016.

Either the upcoming Condo Meeting this December, or the one the following year.

Given that other full refurbishments have been pushed back (SSR isn't complete, BRV hasn't even begun), I wouldn't put too much faith in a 2023-2024 refurb for AKV. COVID delayed a lot of those timetables.

BRV just got pushed back one year from 21 to 22 didn’t it? That’s why I said 23-24. I think it’s due in 23 but expect it to be delayed a year. I can’t imagine it needing to be delayed past 24 unless the pandemic goes horribly bad and everything needs to be shut down again.

It’s a shame they don’t have the refurbs on the same schedule as the hotel side. I know they are funded separately, but it would probably be more convenient for everyone involved. And would probably be more cost effective for both sides. I’m

As to styling, I have not seen what was done to the hotel rooms at Jambo, but one thing that appears certain, since DVC announced it at the 2018 meeting, is that the couches with pull outs beds will be converted to the pull-down Murphy bed in the wall over a couch like those which now exist in Riviera and SSR.

the Jambo House Hotel rooms look kind of similar to copper creek DVC rooms. But more African themed. Has the barn door in front of the bathroom, lvp flooring, high bed that luggage can go under, glass shower door with rainhead shower. I hope it’s similar to the look of the hotel side. I also like the idea of the Murphy bed instead of a pullout sofa. Probably more comfortable.

Looks like this referb still isn’t happening. Will AKV become the next Bolder Ridge, or will that honor go to VGC?
