Does anyone know how much the dues will be for AKV. I know it's supposed to start next month but I've heard nothing and since I do a direct pay to Disney I want to make sure I have enough in my account.

Have you been notified or is it posted somewhere?

They will send you a statement with the total amont due plus how much and when the monthly payments will be taken.

It's right around $4.71 per point. HTH

Thanks so much for the quick replies. That helps me to not worry to much about it then.

The total amount of dues you will owe for 2009 should be listed in your account on dvcmember.com

I own both Jambo and Kidani so I am already paying AKV dues, this year they are $4.86 per point.

You may not get your Annual Dues Statement for your Kidani Village unit until mid to late May. When we purchased our AKV (Jambo House) points our unit had a Jul 2007 occupancy date. Our first dues statement did come until after the unit was available. The due date on that was in Aug 2007.

I've been checking the member website as well since we purchased AKV Kidani and it still doesn't show up.

My Kidani dues have been showing on the member website since the beginning of the year. They don't show as due yet - just the amount I'll have to pay in May.

It doesn't show for me either. However, I did call MS and they told me I should receive a bill mid-May and they should be due in June.

I checked my dues online yesterday and for the AKV contract, the name of the resort is not displayed. I know that line item is for my AKV dues but if I didn't know that, I might wonder what that charge was for since there is no description! Is that true in your case as well?

I wonder if it different depending on if you pay monthly or annually?

When I click on the annual dues link this is what I get...

Annual Dues by Statement
Member ID Number xxxxxxxxx Member Type Additional Purchaser

Below is your Annual Dues by Contract information. You can view and pay the Outstanding Balance on each Contract using the adjacent Pay Balance link, or pay the Total Outstanding Balance for all Contracts under your Member ID when applicable. The View Transaction History link will take you to a log of past account activity and current outstanding balances for each corresponding Contract.

Annual Dues by Contract
Member ID Number xxxxxxxx Member Type Additional Purchaser

(then there is nothing under here??)

I guess I'll be patient in case they are sending a bill (but I signed up to pay monthly), so not sure.

From what I seeing in the posts, those that only have points at a AKV Kidani Village unit or BLT can't see their dues online.

If you have another DVC property where a dues statement was generated in Dec 2008, you will see the AKV and/or BLT dues.

Thank you for explaining that. Makes sense somewhat.

The above doesn't fit us. We do own at other resorts (SSR & GCV) and the only dues amounts showing on the member website is SSR. The weird part is in the alert section it does show our two new GCV contract numbers, but not AKV.
Alerts

  • The Annual Dues Statement for Contract Number(s) XXXX246.0 is now available for viewing and online payment. (SSR)
<LI class=alertRed>Financial information for Contract XXXX763.1 is not yet available. Please try again after the estimated closing date. (GCV)
  • Financial information for Contract XXXX763.2 is not yet available. Please try again after the estimated closing date. (GCV)
This is all it shows for AKV...Total Outstanding Balance $ 0.00

Yes, I only see my contract numbers for any of my dues - no name shows for my VWL contract either. You have a description for your other resorts?

I do pay annually so perhaps that has something to do with it. :confused3

I'm guessing the GCV won't show up until the contracts can close, which if I understand correctly won't be until the final report is issued.

I figured our AKV dues will show up someday...we pay monthly so it would be nice to see if they will be deducting these starting in May or June?
