AKV construction

Hi, I am planning a trip to OKW in Feb. '09 and was thinking of being put on a waiting list for AK. Does anyone know what construction will be going on then? What is open and what is not? Should I try to get AK or just stay with OKW?

The rumor is that construction is scheduled to be complete in the April/May '09 timeframe. I'd call DVC Member Services and ask them to confirm what will/will not be open.

if you want concierge then get AKV.

otherwise OKW will get you in there. this is not going to be a small resort - the problem right now is only Jambo house (akl) is open. the kidani (only AKV) is still in construction.

would think you will be fine on the waiting list.

they will start to open part of Kidani by fall.
