AKV concierge question

We have a 2 Bedroom villa concierge booked and had a question. Since it's concierge does it include nightly turn down service and daily house keeping? I was reading some info over on the resort boards and it seemed to say that DVC concierge gets this included.

wow that's great! Didn't realize it included that. That saves you quite a bit of money with paying for cleaning service.

It is supposed to include both daily housekeeping and nightly turndown service. However, others have reported recently that they have had problems with them not doing the nightly turndown service. If you find that's the case a quick call or visit to the concierge desk should get it resolved quickly.

one more question....is the concierge rooms located in the main lobby area? Some of those rooms are soooooo far away! lol

The club level villas are located on the sixth floor of the lodge steps from the concierge lounge. We stayed concierge at the AKL a couple of years ago. Like most, our room was on the 5th floor. I like the 6th floor so much better.

hellerjw, we were in a club level villa just last week and had turndown every night of our stay. No calls necessary for us.
