AKV Conceirge Question

Just wondering......if I were to book AKV Conceirge for one night (this is just for information, I wouldn't really book less than two nights), when would our party be able to take advantage of conceirge services and the goodies that are served throughout the day? From check in time, even though room may not be ready? Or from room ready time?
To? Check out time on check out day, or midnight of check out day?

Thanks for any info you can offer. Basically I am asking because we added on only 50 points and that doesn't get much at the 11 month window, so I was thinking of doing Sunday through Tuesday night at our 1st home resort of BW, and then doing 2 nights at AKV conceirge level - Wednesday and Thursday of Thanksgiving 2009 (I'm just alittle bit of an advance planner ), with borrowing a few of those AKV points to complete the ressie, and I'm wondering if we check out of BW early on Wed and check into AKV, can we use the conceirge services (and take advantage of the goodies ) from check in time through Friday afternoon? Again, TIA

You can get the services as long as you have a valid room key. You need a valid room key for the elevator to access the concierge floor.

You can use the concierge lounge on the day of your check in before your room is ready. A member of bell services can take you up to the 6th floor where you will check in. If your room is not ready, you are welcome to use the lounge until it is available.

Funny - we bought 50 AKV points with the hopes of doing what you are doing. In fact, I was able to book 4 nights at AKV concierge studio for January (11months out day by day at 8am exactly! Then got 4 nights BWV Boardwalk view studio).

Our flight is supposed to arrive at 11am on a Friday - and my plan is to hang out at the resort/concierge lounge until the room is ready. I was told that if we asked nicely, a CM in the lounge might even get us a beer before the evening beverage service!

With our 50 points, we got 50 points for 2007 use year, so I banked those and used them for the 2009 vacation (2008 use year). We we had more than enough for 4 nights concierge - included two weekend nights. Yeah us!

I banked the 2007 points into next year and I'm using them for 3 night standard view studio during Easter (premier season)!, I've got two little points left over that I won't be able to bank, so I put myself on the conceirge waitlist which will mean I'll have to use some of 2008's current points, if it comes through. I don't even know who (if anyone) I'm going with yet, I just know I'll be there

Good luck getting your waitlist. Those things do come through some times... I am entirely excited about trying AKV concierge. Unfortunately I have to wait another 7 months! But, it will be so worth the wait! Any Disney trip is worth the trip!
