AKV CL rooms?

Hi,

We are going to book AKV CL for a few nights of our wedding trip.

Are all of these rooms in Jambo (I'm assuming so)? And are they all Savannah view?

Also will I need to request Arusha savannah or are al CL rooms automatically that view?

There are 5 2-bedroom lockoffs that make up CL at AKV. They are all in Jambo House. They will be either Pool View or face the Sunset Savanna.

If you want good savana view get a savanna view point cost room. If you want concierge service get concierge but don't expect great view from any of them even those that face sunset savanna. With concierge you can request savanna view but that request is not guaranteed.

Oh dear, that's dissappointing.

I guess we will have to forego CL, what a shame. The view means more to me than the CL offerings though.

Yes...unfortunately the CL savannah view isn't spectacular.

We stay on CL every year. But we do more for the services than the view. The pool view was pretty good too and you do get to see some savannah in the distance.

The Sunset Savannah on the CL is pretty small although connected to the wide open space beyond where Kidani is. There is some "utility" areas in that section that make it less than spectaular. Animals do come in from time to time but you will not see them as much as if you have a regular Savannah View room.

Thanks Rob,

We just returned from our first stay at AKL with an Arusha view, and we really would like the same again.

Maybe on a future trip we'll do CL so we can enjoy the safaris but as it'll be the lead up to our wedding we wouldn't have time to take advantage really.
