AKV banking/booking question

We're getting ready to book our July 08 AKV trip.

Our first AKV points become available in Sept (June UY) and we are planning on banking those into next UY. Since our 11 mo booking window is about to open, can we bank current year points and also use them to book next July even though they technically aren't real until September?

I hope so. If not, we'll wait until Sept to bank/book and hope to avoid a waitlist.

Your points are valid for stays starting on/after your occupancy date but you don't have to wait until that date to make your reservations. You can call MS at your 11-month window to bank those June '07 points into your 2008 UY and use them to book a stay in July 2008.

You can bank your June '07 points now and book your July '08 stay as soon as your 11 month checkout date rolls around this month. You will then be using '07 and '08 points for that reservation. Just be sure you use ALL of the '07 points you bank, because they will not be good past May 31 '09.
