AKV and BWV ROOM REQUESTS

We are doing a split stay at AKV and BWV for our upcoming trip at the end of May. I have never stayed at either of the resorts. We have a standard view for Jambo House for the first half of the trip and then BWV in a BW view for the second half. We would love to get a room so we can see some MK fireworks and Illuminations as well. Any suggestions on where we should request for either resort? TIA

Boardwalk - request top floor. I don't think you can see fireworks from AKV.

You can see and hear Illumination fireworks from any boardwalk view room at BWV. You can also see in the distance MK fireworks. Many request higher floor.

Jambo standards are mostly around the pool. There are a small number elsewhere that have partial savanna view. Not sure whether you can request those.

Great! Thanks for the info. From mostly what I read, I will request a high floor for BWV and just pray I get it. I looked at the maps for both and for AKV, it does look like the standard rooms are by the pool but i wasn't sure. It looks like all the other room locations are savannah views but I wasn't sure. It is very hard to tell what is considered standard or savannah from the map. A pool view would be fine but a partial savannah view would be even better!

As I mentioned there are a small number of Jambo standards that are not arround the pool and have a partial savanna view but I do not know whether you can put in a request for those. Originally all of the Jambo standards overlooked the pool. Last year they reclassified a few savanna view rooms at Jambo to standard and I do not thionk that change has shown up on the maps you have probably seen.
