AKV add on Question

I have a June UY. I read somewhere that if I add on at AKV I would get a bonus of matching 08 pts as well as the 09 points. Does anyone know if that is true?

Since you are now in your 09 UY the answer is no, you would not receive 08 points. If you had added on prior to June 1st, and Disney had 08 points available then you would have.

Disney doesn't always have previous year points so it's not a certainty that even if you had done your add on a month ago that you would have received the points - but that would have provided a chance.

PP is correct about the previous years points not always available. I have an April UY and in mid-March I tried to add on 50 AKV points - but they only had 17 April 2008 points available - so I held off. Since I didn't need the points right away, there was no huge incentive to add-on immediately.
