AKV - 2br Presidents day weekend 09

Hello Everyone,

We're planning a trip to stay at the Animal Kingdom Villas next year with some friends. We'd like to stay in a 2br villa savanna view. I was looking through the website and noticed the 2brs aren't open yet? Is this true?

Also, is there a preferred place within the resort that is recommended?

I believe all the 2 bedrooms in Jambo House are lockoffs (1 bedroom + studio).

that's good to hear. I expected them to be lockoffs, just wanted to make sure they were available for rent.

AKV members can only rent from 11 months out. So post, reservation wanted on the rent/trade board and someone will work with you to make the reservations. Look on the map of AKV and lodge. http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/index.htm#resort. Also, we can request a certain room or area, but they always say and write, request noted but not guaranteed. good luck

Thanks, we're DVC members but at Saratoga so we're probably going to rent our points to find someone with points at AKV so we can book 11months out.

I'm just looking for recomendations from where other people stayed at the resort.
