Has anyone stayed in one of the new AKV 2-bedroom villas, yet? We're planning a trip in July and are trying to decide whether to try this or go to our old standby OKW. I cannot find photos or information on the 2 bedroom villas that are available now - only those that will be in the new addition in 2009. Please help. Thanks!

We stayed in an AKV 1 bedroom villa but it was a lock-off with a studio next to ours (had the connecting door). Obviously I wouldn't know much about the studio part, but I can tell you about the rest (It was great BTW).

You walked right into the Kitchen area. It was along the left wall with a stand only wooden island with granite top. On the right was a large closet and the door to the studio. Past the kitchen on the left was the hall way. Directly at the end of the hall was the stacked washer and drier (in a closet). To the left was the door to the bathroom. It had a LARGE soaking tub/shower combo that was very deep and hard to get in and out of. There was a very wide double vanity with shelving underneath. There were also more shelves next to that. The toilet was next to the shower in its own little room. Across from the bathroom door was the entrance to the Master bedroom. It had a large armoire, flat screen tv and drawers, two night stands, desk, king bed and chair as well as sliding doors to the balcony.

The living room had a pull out bed couch, coffee table, pull out bed chair and table and chairs with bench and 2 chairs. The flat screen tv also had drawers in the unit. The sliding doors led out to a double wide balcony with several chairs and a little table. It looks like the studio side would have its own balcony.

I hope that answers everything.....it was really nice and spacious. I just didn't like the layout of the main bathroom.

If you go to the DVC site..they give you layouts and info for each resort...Jambo House rooms will be a bit different than Kidani Village. Also, there are more room catergories, such as Value, Standard, Savanna and Concierge!~
