we are booked at the AKL for 3 nights in december w/a savannah view. which area/room should we request? thanks!

We have been on the Zebra Trail, 3rd floor about 1/3 of the way down the hall and have had a great view of the animals. It is on the Arusha savannah. The elevator to the pool and Mara is nearby. It is a short walk to the lobby. We saw giraffes, zebras, ankole cattle, wildebeest, and other animals. This past July we had a bunkbed room on the Zebra Trail and the animals were right outside our room. I faxed a request about 5 days before we were arriving and luckily got what I had requested. You will love the AKL!

I would also suggest Arusha Rock Savannah (either Kudu or Zebra Trail). You will LOVE AKL!!!!!
