AKL, WLR or YCR?

Don't let AKL distance out you off. Apart from water parks and DTD it's no more than 20 ish minutes anywhere. I stayed there in May and their bus service was the best of anywhere I've stayed. It's a bit further away but not much really. DTD is a pain though. That's 40 minutes.

I agree the distance isn't an issue for me but can totally understand why it is an issue for some. Also I find the food in Jiko incredible. That said if your not keen on sitting on buses or waiting for buses the YC makes much more sense. When we were at akl a few times we were unlucky to miss a bus so were a bit pushed to make adrs(as you mention I think it was for Dtd)If you stay at YC there's more around and very large number of activities/restaurants etc within 10 mins walk. Tough decision but nice one to have! We only used buses for animal kingdom really and walked or mono railed to the others from the beach club.

Basically I would love akl to be moved to the boardwalk area!!!

Out wedding is August 26th so will likely be flying between 29th and 31st August. We're planning on 10 days in Disney and then a few days in Mexico before flying home

I think we're set on YC now because of it's location but I've always wanted to stay at WL so it's been a tough choice! We decided against AKL primarily because of distance.

Our wedding anniversary is 28 August, we had a lovely sunny day, hope you do too. Are the girls bridesmaids?

We may see you if you choose YCR . The buses at AKL were very good.
