AKL - why so much "cheaper"?

AKL used to have deluxe rooms that slept 5 (with a day bed). All of those rooms were converted to DVC villas, so there are no longer any AKL rooms that sleep 5 except for the DVC one and two bedroom villas and some AKL suites. Many of the DVC one bedroom villas at AKV now sleep 5 persons with a king bed, one queen sized sleeper sofa and one single sleeper chair.

I have stayed at GF twice, Poly, and recently the AKL. we enjoyed our stay but prob. wont stay there again. we have been so spoiled by teh monorail to EPCOT and MK that he hated getting on the busses to get to every single park. also seeing teh castle out your window it pretty impressive. the rooms are def. bigger at GF, and the MK is my fav park, so i will give anythign to be that close to it!

something we couldnt stand about AKL was the mara, it was ALWAYS always ALWAYS packed solid with ppl. they should have made this place 3 times bigger for the amount of guests thats tay there. we felt like vultures waiitnf ro soemone to get up from a table!

thanks again for all the replies and opinions! My gut feel is that of the previous poster - for me, I think being either on the monorail or within walking distance of EPCOT seems to justify the price difference - especially since we'll be attending with children.

Thanks.
