AKL Wanyama Safari and Dinner

Hi

We're going to be staying at AKL in November, and I've been reading about the Wanyama Safari.

Has anyone been on the Wanyama Safari and would you recommend it for two adults (no kids)?

Also, I see from next year it's open to all resort guests at a cost of $209 - is it the same price this year?

We have done it 3 times, most recently 12/15.
I'm a bit of an animal geek & I'm a foodie - so it's a perfect fit for me. I think it was $190 per person last Dec..
You have treats in the wine room by the podium for Jiko before you load onto the safari truck. You & your fellow safari goers (max 12) drive by Pembe savanna and then you drive through Sunset, Arusha and Uzima savannas. Your driver and the person in the truck with you are animal husbandry workers at AKL and you learn about AK & AKL's animal programs as well as tidbits about particular animals during the 1 1/2 hr.s you spend on the savannas. Then you have dinner with your group at Jiko - the chef will be out to talk about the courses and there are wine pairings w/ the food. We've had some very pleasant companions for our Wanyama safaris & I'm obviously a fan since I keep going back
