AKL Villas questions

Does the AKL Villas have one and two bedroom suites?If so,how many do they sleep and are they included in the Oct-Dec. package for general public?Has anyone booked them and if so what price did you get?Thanks.

I know that right now they are a little sparse in the types of accommodations that they are able to offer because there will only be certain types of rooms available in the main bldg. Also, it depends on how their schedule goes in getting the rooms completed in the main bldg. I don't think they are going to offer them to the general public by then, though, because the rooms have been booked up since they opened it up to DVC members. If you are looking for that type of room accommodation you would likely do a lot better price-wise through a DVC member by renting their pts. Disney charges an arm and a leg for the 1 and 2 BR accommodations - you can get them for hundreds less (depending on how long you are staying) through a DVC member.

Once they have the separate DVC bldg. built there, the availability will be a lot better for the general public... but for right now things are booked solid for the DVC rooms in the main bldg. by DVC members.

As for sleeping arrangements, a 1 BR villa has a king in the master. There is a sofa and chair in the LR that convert to sleep three more.

A 2 BR offers another queen and another full bathroom. There will also be a sofabed or second queen in that room....or at least I think some rooms have the second queen instead of the sleeper.

There is also a washer/dryer and full kitchen which is nice for actual wine glasses, full size refrig and coffeemaker.

A 2 BR will occupy the same space as three former deluxe rooms so there will be plenty of balcony space too.

Oh, and whirlpool tub in the master bath.

A one bedroom will either sleep 4 or 5 depending on if it has the sleeper chair. The two bedroom will either sleep 8 or 9, again depending on if it has the sleeper chair. DVC will not provide rollaways or cots.
