AKL Villa or VWL for one night Christmas?

Which resort do you like better at Christmas time, AKL 1BR villa of VWL 1BR?

I haven't stayed at either during Christmas. It will be two seniors, one parent and teen DD. Not a long trip. We will have a car.

I usually stay at BWV during Christmas. Love to walk around the Boardwalk. We will not have park passes either.

Thanks for sharing your opinion and telling me what you love about either resort at Christmas.

IMO nothing beats VWL during Christmas. It's hard to explain, but the setting itself (the Lodge, fireplaces, just everything) is perfect for the Christmas backdrop.

We've only been at VWL during Christmas time and it is special. But if the 1BR at AKL is in Kidani then you'll have 2 bathrooms which would be a bonus. Both are beautiful. AKL has the community room with crafts if you're into that plus a ton of activities and presentations. VWL has a beautiful setting too and you can walk to Fort Wilderness if you want to do a sleigh ride there.

I am at AKL now in a 1 BR. The lobby and decorations are spectacular.
