Suggestion on accomodating 3 sets of parents and two grandchildren (4 and 3) at AKL Villa - Is 2 BR villa enough room or 2 BR plus a studio - or Grand Villa? Thanks.

Are you a DVC member? That may be the only way to get a GV at AKV. You could fit 8 in a two bedroom, but you'd be crowded. You'd have a master bedroom with a king bed. Second bedroom would have either two queen beds or one queen and one double sleeper sofa. Living room would have one queen sleeper sofa. Who would get to share the second bedroom? Who would get the living room?

I was thinking about trying to get a villa for 2 in Sept. of 2008. Is it possible if I am not a DVC owner? I guess there are studios? That's all we'd need...

You absolutely can book a villa through WDTC; it just depends on availability for your dates. When you check online, you should see AKV listed as an option, separate from AKL. {Disney retains inventory on the DVC properties.} The only reason to be concerned about AKV availability is because of the small number of rooms complete at this time. (When Kidani opens - April 2009 - there should be lots of availability! :yay:)
