AKL to Typhoon Lagoon

Hi Dis'ers,

I keep reading conflicting comments and wanted some clarification...

We're staying at AKL in September and are planning on going to Typhoon Lagoon. Will we be able to get a direct bus from AKL all the way there, or will we need to transfer at Disney Springs?

It is my understanding that everyone transfers at DS to TL.

I believe, TL all transfer through DS, BB all transfer through AK. I think it’s been the last 2 years. I absolutely hate it. We take cabs/Uber.

This is what is confusing me - i understand that many resorts DO transit through Disney Springs, however i have heard conflicting reports about AKL - i've seen a recent photo of a bus display board that lists the next departure bus at AKL to Typhoon Lagoon...

The display board will show TL or BB, but it will take you to DS or AK, respectively. I think that is what you might be asking.
