AKL to AllStarsMovie?

Hey, Y'all!
We will be staying at ASMO the first week of Jan., 2002 (YEA!). We have planned to spend one day at Animal Kingdom, and then take the bus over to AKL for some sightseeing and dinner at Boma. Here's my question: What would be the best way to get back to ASMO from AKL? Are there taxis available? We figure it would be a short fare. Or would it be better to go back to ASMO from Animal Kingdom, and then take our own car over to AKL? Would we have any problems parking at AKL? Especially since we will have PS's for Boma?

what time is your ps' for boma? if it's after 6:00pm, than going back to AK is out of the transportation; it's closed!i think the best bet would actually take the akl bus to any of the other parks (which ever park bus is there already at AKL) and transfer from there.

We went from AKL to the ASMu a few weeks ago. AK was closed so we took the first park bus to arrive (MK in our case) and then the ASMu bus from there. We could have taken MGM or DTD if they had come first. It took a while. I'd drive if I could. JMHO

Has anyone taken a cab from ASMo to AKL or visa versa? How much was the fare? Just curious...we have PS for 9:00AM, so we'll have to get there quickly!

After a VERY long wait to get a bus from Typhoon Lagoon to AKL (almost an hour!) for our dinner reservation at Boma, we decided to take a cab back to ASSp after we ate.

Bell services out front called the cab for us, it was there in less than 10 minutes, and it cost about $6 (w/tip, I think) back to ASSp. Worth every penny!

I would drive or get a taxi. It only took us 5 minutes to get from All Star Music to park at Animal Kingdom. I would difinitely pay a few dollars to save an hours time on a disney bus.
