AKL The Mara

Quick question...if I am not staying at AKL, can my family still eat at The Mara? My husband has never been to the resort (I've only taken girls only trips there) and we would love to show him around after our day at AK. We would also love to grab a QS meal at The Mara. I know it's in the pool area, so are we still allowed to go there? Thanks for any input!

Yes you can eat at Mara.

absolutely. my friend and i visited there in april and spent hours all over the resort, including walking all over the pool area, the mara, the bar, animal viewing, even the hallways (i was looking for a specific animal viewing area to show her from our stay there, but i never did find it), no problem.

As others have said, yes! We love AKL and Mara is one of our favorites for resort CS. Go and enjoy .

yes, you can eat at any restaurant at any resort regardless of whether or not you are staying there.

Mara is a great CS and the AKL is a very fun resort to visit!

sure can. and I suggest you also take the walk( or cheat and take the bus) over to Kidani and wander around THOSE grounds as well.. the area just outside the restaurant is much much closer to the animals

Yes, We stayed at Kidani for a week and took the shuttle over almost ever day.

Totally agree. THE best gift shop.

As for the Mara - their pizza is some of the best we've had on Disney property and a full pie can be ordered.
