AKL! Tell me everything!

Someone was sprinkling pixie dust on me today! I was just playing around on the passholder website to see what else was available for our dates next month and found the AKL! So I called DBF to make sure it was okay to make the change and he said YES!!! I've never been so excited! I've wanted to stay there since I first stepped in the doors almost 2 years ago! So now I need to know everything! I know there is construction going on but I'm not too worried about it. Any tips, hints, advice would be great. This is DBF's first trip so I'm really trying to make it special for him.

Subscribing - we're staying there for the first time in October - visited the resort several times and ate at Boma, but never stayed - so excited!! We got the AP rate with the dining card.

Stay away from the Morrocan beer! (I think it's called Casablanca) It's no better than and is similar to Budweiser and they cost like $8 each!!!

Hurry! You've got a lot of reading to do!! I would suggest you skip ahead about 600 pages or so! (to the more current info) Congratulations - you will LOVE AKL!!

We love AKL!!!!!
Walk around and enjoy! is beautiful.
They have a great gift shop we enjoy looking in and buying!
Boma and Jikare two of our favorite restaurants ANYWHERE!
Love the pool and all the areas around it.
The bus service is excellent!!!! You don't share with anyne and we never had to wait long.
All the cast members were very friendly.
Story telling around the fire pit.
ohhhhh... and we think they have reat snack/take out place We love the African stew that they have there.
FUN FuN FUN!!!! You will love it!!!!!

Hint.... ask for 3rd or 4th floor. and not all the way down at the end if possible. It is such long walk after a day in the parks.
I actually like the pool view better but DH thinks I'm nuts.
