AKL Staying Standard & Concierge

This will be our first stay at AKL. We'll be there the 1st week of August, and while I'm hoping for some discounts by that time, I had to reserve my room to keep from getting shut out. Tried to save a few bucks by staying standard the first few days and then moving to concierge on Wednesday for the rest of the week to be able to take the Sunrise/Sunset safaris. Will they move us to our new room while we' re park hopping? Will we know what room we'll be in prior to our move? Will they be able to key our rooms at our initial check in, or will we have to submit to a second check in for the last half of our stay.

I believe you have to check out & let bell services hold your luggage & check back in at bell service desk to be taken up to club level floor to recheck in to get your new KTTW as they will be gold not blue unless that has changed since this past December This is what I was told when we go in May. But we are staying club from the start. Sorry if this isn't helpful but I do believe it is how it is done.
