AKL Standard View,which trail,help please?

I just booked standard view at AKL and would appreciate it if someone could confirm that I am requesting the best location. I want to try and avoid the area that overlooks the bus stops as I have read on the boards that these rooms are very noisy. Does anyone know for sure which trail does not overlook the bus stop? Thanks for any advice.

From the map it looks like the end of Giraffe Trail looks out over the bus stop.

It is the end of the Giraffe trail. But my DH and I stayed in this location a few years ago for our engagement celebration and we both didn't think it was that bad. We actually got the very last room on the Giraffe trail and were right next to the busstop. I think we only noticed it once during a 5 night stay and it was tiny kids so excited they were screaming and dancing so it actually was cute and funny. We noticed most guests and parents were extremely concious and heard many reminding their kids that people may still be sleeping in these rooms. I personally don't think there is a bad place at this resort. JMO

When we stayed at AKL last June we had a wonderful room. We had booked a standard view but a little "magic" got us a fabulous upgrade to a deluxe savanna view. Our room was at the very end of zebra trail overlooking the Arusha savanna. We were on the lobby level I believe this is 3rd level. It was quite a hike down the hallway but with beautiful viewing areas along the way. Also museum quality displays of african artifacts along the way also. We saw many animals outside our balcony at almost all times of day. We woke up to girrafes outside our balcony almost every morning. We noticed that there was an animal feeding area (where the cms feed the animals) not too far from our balcony so that could have accounted for the multitude of animals that we saw. Our room had bunkbeds also that the kids loved. When we were in line waiting to check in (8 am) were we approached by a CM who complemented us on our childrens good behavior (boys 11 and 9). They said that the CM at the check in was celebrating his 20th anniversary with DIsney and would our family be interested in helping give him a presentation. We sais of course and the boys were so excited. We presented him with a statue of the castle and a pin. When the presentation was over the general manager came over to thank us for our help and said "Lets see what kind of nice rooms we have for you". We were absolutly thrilled with our upgrade. They also, upon finding out that it was my son's birthday the next day, gave us complementary tickets to the 3 extra park hours in the evening at the magic kingdom after it was closed. I cant recall what this is called but you can buy tickets for it. All in all a very magical trip for us and a great AKL experience.

Thank you for the link to the map. I had checked one but it didn't show the bus stop,yours was great. Heres to us all having a GREAT vacation at a beautiful resort!

I just booked an AKL standard view for June and requested the Ostrich Trail. It overlooks the front of the resort but is away from the bus area. To me it looks like that if you are standing in the parking lot looking at the lodge the bus area is to the right of the main entrance. That's the Giraffe Trail. The Ostrich trail os located to the left of the entrance. (I hope!)
