AKL - Standard Rooms

Do you remember your room number??? We are staying in a standard soon!

I'm so sorry, I just now saw this. Our standard room was 5209, which is DVC, but if you requested the "09" rooms on the 3rd or 4th floor it would probably be the same view.

Edited: Just looked at the map and it would have to be the 4th or 6th floor.

I am trying to determine whether I want to spend the extra money for a Savannah view room or stay in a Standard room at AKL in Sept. Of course, my wallet screams for Standard but my heart wants Savannah. In looking at the Touring Plans room views, it appears that there are many "standard" rooms that have a view of the Savannah. Is this correct?? I have had good results using the Touring Plans room request feature, so I would definitely request one of these rooms if they are indeed viewing parts of the Savannah. Any information about this is greatly appreciated!!

Rent DVC points and get a savannah view deluxe studio for a reasonable price!! We booked via Dave's and paid a little more than a moderate resort room. It sounds too good to be true but let me tell you it was AWESOME!!! The key to bothering is if you really plan to spend time on your balcony enjoying the animals. We built that into our schedule.
