AKL Standard Room ?'s

We are considering a trip in December and the $119 price for a standard room at AKL seems to be the best deal for us. We have stayed in a Savanah view before and it was great to see the animals in the morning and before and after nap time for the little ones, but we also really enjoyed exploring the logde and seeing the animals from all different vantage points.

Has anyone stayed in a Standard Room who can give some details? Are the room sizes the same, etc.? Thanks for your help.

Everything is the same except the view. You may have a concrete wall on your balcony instead of the bars. For $119, standard view is well worth the money. Go for it!

From my understanding your view will be of the parking lot, bus loading area or the like. If you don't really care about the view then I would go for it $119 is a great rate. BTW if you have an AP the AP rate is $109. Checkout http://www.mousesavers.com for the code for the AP.
