AKL Savanna View, which one?

We are staying at Jambo house deluxe studio with a savanna view. I know there are different savannas. Do I have the option to request a certain savanna? If so which one is your favorite?

Our favorite is Arusha since it allows a full view of the resort as well as animals. But, that having been said, as long as you have a Savanna View at Jambo House I don't think you can get a bad one! All savannas have animals, some species may be unique to a specific one but you will love the experience. We wander around looking at each view, and always check in the middle of the night to see who is right outside our balcony.

I think that certain animals are only on certain savannas (I forget which/where right now). But I know that there are more birds on the Sunset savannah, and I've seen the most giraffes there too. But since I'm primarily about the birds (I'm a birder) I always request Sunset.

I am going to be there March 8 and we requested Sunset Savanna View, Near Lobby. I just based that on the things I read here. I hope it was a good choice!

We were just there on the Arusha Savanna. So cool! We had zebras, giraffes (laying down, even!), antelope, birds, etc. It was amazing to watch them, since their feeding area was right in front of us. And make sure you listen late at night...all you can hear is them chomping away at the grass. Just a neat experience!

I already booked a Savanna view room. Am I able to request which view I want? Do you do this during the online check in when you check in at the resort?
