At one time, I recall that if you were staying in concierge at AKL, there was a special tour that you could purchase to tour the savanaugh at the Lodge. Is this correct and if so, what is the cost and how do you go about booking it?

Thank You!!!! Exactly what I was working for. Has anyone ever did the tour at the Lodge with the dinner at Jiko's?

If you Google "Wanyama Safari," you'll find some pretty extensive reviews. I haven't done it yet, but have booked it for October! I can't wait!

I've been fortunate enough to have done it twice. Needless to say (since I did it twice), I loved it. My only tiny complaints were with Jiko-the first time, when I turned down the wine, they didn't offer me a soft drink. The second time, I accepted the wine, then gave it to whoever became my very bestest friend at the table:rotfl: But the second time, I was less than thrilled with the overall quality of the food at Jiko (just a few months ago). Either the quality's declined or it wasn't their best night.

Here are a few pictures from my first trip-

Yes, we've done the Wanyama safari and really enjoyed it. And in case you didn't notice you do not have to be staying concierge for that.
