I have just booked thru a travel agent for May 3rd room only and 6 nights Dream Maker Package 4th thur 10th. Room-only is 250/night and Package is 2,340.94. Can I get a better deal using codes or not? If so, can someone tell me what the codes are.

Call CRO 1-407-W-Disney and tell them the dates you want and what package and have them apply code AXA or AXB and see if they come up with a better price.

Don't forget to mention if you have Disney Club-I don't think you can use this with a code but see what gets you the best price.

If you get a cheaper price direct from Disney then book through them.

Make sure to get the exact deposit and cancellation policies right from them.

Tell them if you do not want travel insurance because they may automatically put that in the price.

I would call today and check on prices.

What kind of room is it? And what view?

There is a different code for packages listed on Mousesavers.com. It is ZXWB. First call your travel agent and ask if the rate is discounted. If not, tell them you saw a discount code & ask if it can be applied. Print out the info if you have to. You can also call yourself & verify rate/availability info.

I forgot to mention the code that the above poster just mentioned.

I was told that ZXWB was for the dreammaker package only-lodging and tickets and that you couldn't do any of the add-ons with this code but I don't know if this is correct or not.

Looks like $250 is a standard savannah view room for $225 with the tax (11%) added in. $225 is the rate with the code, so maybe they used the other code for your package? That's great if they did!

We usually don't do packages because we get the park hopper plus passes instead of the ultimate/unlimited passes. It saves us money. On a 6 day trip we would probably do major parks 4 days, 1 water park day, and shopping/relaxing day. Connections sells a 4 day pass with 1 plus for $200, so it's a savings.

In your case, since the room only is $250 per night, 2340 - 1500 is $840. If you're going to spend more than that on passes and the freebies included with the package, then it's a good price for you. For us, 2 of the 4 day plus passes are only $400, so we'd be saving $440.
