AKL Room Request

I got lucky and got a great postcard rate for a savannah view room at AKL the third weekend in October, but we've never stayed there, any suggestions for a room request? We booked 2 rroms, we're a group of 7. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

not to hijack your thread, but I have a question along these lines too....we are going in Feb. Currently booked in "parking lot view" rooms. Not sure our chances of a free upgrade because we want connecting rooms, BUT we could possibly upgrade to pool view when codes come out. Question - is paying for the upgrade from Parking lot to Pool really worth it? AND are there any rooms to absolutely stay away from. For example, when we check in are there any rooms to pitch a fit about getter? I am definitely a light sleeper, so a noisy area would make me a little crazy.

rach98n: I can tell you that if you have a standard view, you do not want the zebra trail. Our parking lot view was above the walkway to busses, and we could hear the busses a little. It didn't bother me one bit, because I can sleep through anything, but I can see how a light sleeper would be annoyed!
