akl question?!

I'm assuming by looking at the map that the "pool view" rooms at akl would either be on the zebra or giraffe trail? Just wondering which trail was better as far as over all location? Or if anyone had a specific pool view room that was especially good. This will be our first stay at akl

Hi! I would request Zebra Trail b/c the hallway would therefore have Savanna views looking out onto the Arusha savanna. Also, you'd hopefully be close to the elevators which go down to Simba's Cubhouse, the laundry room and the door out to the pool and Mara!

I agree with the previous poster. We were originally on the Uzima Savannah- Kudu trail. We changed to Arusha Savannah and Zebra trail.. It was so much closer to the pool, laundry and the Simba Cub Den.
