We are staying at AKL concierge for 5 night in Oct. My question is my parents are comming in for a day and want to stay in our room. Disney says this is ok for 25 dollars per person, however DU travel will not add them to my room for just one night, thay said they have to stay the entire time. What do I do???

If it were me, I'd call CRO and tell them the situation, and see what they say. They may just add the $50 extra dollars to your bill and then it's done.
Or if they say you have to go through the travel agent, and the travel agent won't/can't add your parents for one night, I'd just have them stay anyway and not pay.

When you use a travel agency Disney is not allowed to make any changes to the reservation. The agent must do this.

Honestly I would call Disney and ask about this. If they can't do it and your travel agent won't do it, I would just sneak them in b/c for one night no one will really notice. I used to work in housekeeping back in high school and sometimes would notice that it looked like more than 2 people in the room, but did I ever mention it? No. Did any of my co-workers. No. If you did that every time someone bent the rules they would stop coming to that particular hotel because of their original messed up trip ya know? So I would just sneak them in. but shhh don't tell anyone :D

Just advise the front desk when you get there. If they want to add the $25 pp for the one night they can do it then, but probably they will just say it is fine. I am sure the travel agent is not able to add 2 adults for just one night.

When my family of 4 goes we always have 2 rooms(DD 26 and DS 14 travel with DH and I)DS and his family(also 4) who live two hours from Orlando sometimes come and join us for a night or two while there. We never know until the day before they come if he can get time off work or not to join us, so we just add them to the room then. I go to the front desk the morning they will be coming(they always come in late) and the front desk CM "changes the room mix" We have not had a problem with this so far and have never been charged for the extra adult either.
We leave in a the 28th for our next trip. DS hopes to join us for a couple of days, but he won't know until the 31st if he can, so we will do as before and "change the room mix" when we know for sure.

I have sort of the same issue. My daughter and I are staying at the AKL for 5 nights. My parents are going to be joining us for 3 of the 5 nights. I called Disney to have them added for the 3 nights but because the nights are in the middle of the reservation they couldn't add them. The Disney agent told me to just let the front desk know when they arrived and I could pay the extra adult fee then.
