Today in the mail I got a postcard from disney saying that I could stay at the AKL for $129 a night did anybody else receive this postcard??

Yes this price for the AKL is with the savannah view.

Whoo Hoo! I got the same postcard! Although I asked for woods view at WL middle of Dec and got a rate of $132.42 incl tax! That seems almost too good to be true so I'm going to await my confirmation to be sure, sounds great to me though!

Just got one today when I came home. But mine says nothing about the view. I would assume $129 is for a standard room though.

Just called WDW to see what the story was. The rates for AKL were $119 plus tax for Standard View and $169 for Savannah View. Concierge rates were $269 a night plus tax. Postcard said that the rates were available most nights 10/3/02-10/05/02 and 10/11/02-11/02/02. Rates seem to be the same as the CKO code...but the postcard code came up with more availability and room options. I could not get any ressie at the CR with CKO code but was able to get it with the postcard rate. Hope this helps. By the way, they did ask me for my pin # to go along with the postcard.

I called Disney also and I told them about the postcard. I gave them my pin # and I asked for what kind of a room and they did tell me savannah. Maybe they told me wrong because on my post card it doesnt say anything but i did call.
