AKL Pool View suggestions

Hi! We will be staying in a Deluxe Pool View in June, and I would like an unobstructed pool view. What would be the best area/floor to suggest to stay out of the trees? Can you walk directly down stairs on the Giraffe Trail to go to the busses. Is this trail very inconvenient to the laundry?
