AKL POOL.Please tell me about it

Hi Everyone!

Can someone tell me about the AKL pool, I booked for early November. How is the pool, is it true it's only 3.5 feet

I hope I made a good choice about the hotel

I LOVE the pool at AKL! In fact, it's a close second to my favorite WDW resort pool, which is the volcano pool at the Polynesian

I like that the pool has a zero-depth-entry, and I love the specialty drinks at the pool bar, especially the "Nyami Nyami" (I have a picture of this drink on my web page. lol) and the pool is fairly large, which is nice, and gives the pool area a nice open feel even considering that the pool is surrounded by the resort on 3 sides.

Enjoy the AKL and the pool there!

P.S. I definitely remember the pool having a section deeper than 3.5'!

There are two separate pools; one for the kids and another for the adults. Th e link above shows the adult pool which was really nice. We enjoyed both during our Magical Beginnings trip. In fact, we went swimming on the day Hurricane Ernesto flew by just southwest of the resort. The zero-entry pool is nice and gave my DD1 a chance to get her feet wet and splash around a bit without having to worry about her climbing in/out of the pool. It's an awesome pool and you will really enjoy it.

I forgot to mention the separate jacuzzi/spa's that are by the pool. Even though we didn't get a chance to use them because of the storm, i'm glad they were there. Hopefully we can get a chance to use them during our next visit. (see sig)
