We're just back from an AMAZING time at AKL - It was our first stay there...honestly...I don't think I'll stay anywhere else again. We were in room 4319. There wasn't a single morning that I didn't enjoy my coffee on the balcony with a giraffe or zebra. Everything was wonderful...the service, Boma, Mara the pool...I loved it ALL!

I made my reservation yesterday for December. I'm so excited. Does anyone have any pics of the 1bdrm suites? Does anyone know what their location is in regards to the concierge lounge?

Boy, Disney does not make it easy to decide which resort to stay at! Just when I think I found "the one" I come to this thread and now I'm in love with AKL!

I asked my family yesterday "if money was no object which resort would you stay at?" More than half said AKL! Looks like we may have to make that happen

Does anyone else find themselves looking for hidden mickey's on the REAL giraffes?!

Love all the photos...I can't wait for our return trip in December! Last time we stayed Pool View on Zebra Trail (Room 4428) and we were so happy. We really loved Zebra Trail b/c as we walked down the hall to our room, we had animals to view off one side and the pool off the other. Our balcony view, however, was a bit dull. It overlooked a tiny kiddy pool (a big puddle really) with the main pool kinda off in the distance at an angle. Any suggestions or photos (with room #'s) of a better pool view? We would like to stay on Zebra Trail, if possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
