AKL or POR

Hi everyone, I have a question...I'm going the week of May27th-31st and I'm trying to decide between these resorts which to stay at. I can get the AKL with a standard view for $728.00 for 4 nights or I can get CRB or POR for $581.00 for 4 nights. Any advice or suggestions of which would be the best bet. I have a 4 year old so I want the one that's the most convienent, but was just looking for some advice. Thanks so much!!!

Also, anyone have an idea if when the codes come out in April if there's a chance I might be able to do any better than those rates???

Haven't stayed at CBR yet, but I have stayed at AKL and POR. The AKL standard view room offers a view of the parking lot and Highway 192 in the distance. If you get a room near the bus area, it will be noisy both early and late. We had a standard view room which was fine for one night, but next time we're definitely staying in a savannah room - even if we don't see many animals, at least we'll see grass and trees, etc. That being said, AKL is a fantastic resort. The animals are wonderful. The pool is great! The food area is good! POR is my favorite moderate. The room sizes are very similar to the AKL standard view (although the AKL bath area is a bit nicer). POR has 6 great pools, a playground and a fishin' hole where you and your child can fish! POR has bike rentals and boat rentals which AKL does not have. Also, once the boats return to POR, you have that option to go to Downtown Disney. In addition, the bus rides at POR will be shorter than AKL. The bus ride from AKL to MK will take at least 20 minutes. I love both resorts, but I would vote for POR for you solely because the standard room at AKL is just so-so. If you do choose POR, I would definitely take some time to visit AKL because the resort is just fabulous - the store is one of the best resort stores I've been in so far.
