when making res on points how specific can your room request be
wing?
floor?
even odd?
or any other things

You can make your requests as specific as you'd like, but Disney won't guarantee any of them. The more requests made (or the more specific) the less likely you will get them.

If you want a particular view or floor, that can usually be met, but specific room requests can certainly lead to disappointment.

At any resort, make your requests in their order of importance to you.

To augment what WMDoc pointed out so well, making the requests in the order of importance is critical.

If you call MS and ask for:

upper floor
near elevator
odd number room
non-smoking


then they will try to fill your request starting with the first criteria. If being near an elevator is more important than the upper floor, you should make sure to list that first.

Doc's other point is important too.....they will try to fill your request but there are absolutely no guarantees. Just don't want your very first moments of your visit to be disappointing.
