Have a wonderful time at DLP!! I'm very jealous! I love DLP...very depressing its only 2 hours away but I can't go again for years....:(

Ciao ALL OF YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just found this :
Guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge will have a chance to paint their own ostrich egg on Easter Sunday, April 12 , in Simba's Cubhouse. A limited number of ostrich eggs are available on a first-come, first-served basis; cost is a $30 donation to Disney's Wildlife Conservation Fund.:cloud9:

I guess it could be very interesting if someone is at AKL on Easter Sunday !!!
Myself, I would love to do my own painted egg !!!! :)

( SORRY , wrong country !! I'll be at Disneyland Paris ;) on Easter Sunday :confused3... )

IS SOMEBODY VISITING AKL :goodvibes AT EASTER TIME ?
Ciao, laura

We'll be there, but we're doing the Sunrise Safari that morning. I dont think we'll have the time that day.

Lucky you, at DLP!:)

I just had my dinner...

I sure hope it doesn't make me sick!!!

I know! It has me thinking about a potential add-on to our October trip. shhhh... it would be a surprise to myBob. We would check out of BCV on Thursday, October 8 and into AKL CL without him knowing. He wouldn't have to take any additional vacation and we could extend our trip. I have to see if I can work this out...

:woohoo: That sounds like a great idea!!

Hi everyone! I miss all of you! There is no way I can ever get caught up:sad2:
Just wanted to let you all know that I quit smoking:dance3: My last cigarette was 9:30pm Monday night:thumbsup2
The withdrawal is driving me nuts and I am not sleeping very well, but it's worth it...I started getting out of breath, and was worried about an odd feeling in my chest, I'm only 37, too young to be worried about having a heart attack, so I am an ex-smoker now:woohoo:

And 7 weeks from tomorrow, AKLV Kidani here I come!:cheer2:

Good for you athenna! Congrats! :cheer2:

They don't have a $7 "giant" Zebra Dome, do they?!!! :confused3 (I don't think it would taste near as good anyway!)
Oh great - now I'm sitting here having a major craving!!!

OMG - I didn't know there was such a thing! :scared1:

thanks! I think we will plan that for one night, then. I am willing to wait ... at the bar!

:rotfl: I know that's where I wait ;)

No lions at AKL (obviously!), but since they are at the park........

Have any of you seen the video of Christian the Lion? Anytime I need a good cry, I watch it! It is just the sweetest thing.

Torsie, these guys bought the lion (many, many years ago) at Harrods!!

OMG my MIL sent me that clip once and it makes me laugh and cry then laugh :teeth::sad1::teeth: UNREAL!

Had to catch up again -- the thread moves much faster on the Resorts Board. I can't keep up!!!

Ummmm -- now I want a zebra dome.

Athenna -- you go, girl!!! Great job.

Don't think I could do the toe shoes. :)

I'm at 69 days until Pop Century! :cool1:

And, I'm ready for baseball -- Astros fan here!

mmmears - what a great way to spend your morning on Easter :cool1: I can't wait to hear about it. We've only done it once and that was in 2003 :guilty:

I'm sad this is only for CLers. :( Will have to wait for the honeymoon!

Very exciting! :cool1:

Well I know who I'm cheering for...

I'm sorry for that but it gives you something to look forward to ;) Are you honeymooning at AKL??
Maybe, there are sooooo many resorts we want to try. DF loves the Disneyland Hotel (like the Floridian) so he really wants to stay there! (We will do for a night or two at least)

But I love the look of WL too! And the poly.....and Contemporary....and BC/YC....you see my dilemma!

torsie, I'm not sure if it was on this thread or the other but I saw you consider the "decorate your own ice cream cones" for the children at your reception and someone said they were just at the AKL. From what I've read and also from that TV special, I think WDW will do most anything you request at Fairytale Weddings. At any rate, it's worth putting in your folder and asking.:surfweb: Can't hurt to ask.:goodvibes

Does the pope wear a pointy hat?!?! :teeth:

I know! I have stayed at every Deluxe except YC and I'm still dying to "try" them again and again. Currently, I'm eager to stay at BWI, splitting with AKL which I miss so badly...We like doing split stays :thumbsup2 You would LOVE the GF...and the Poly...and CR...and BC
