AKL-KV versus BCV....HELP!

Ughhh! I'm so confused! I feel like we had everything finally worked out but the most minute details for our upcoming trip, but now we've been thrown a curve ball. What should we do????? What would YOU do???

FINALLY got a PIN, but it's not available for BCV. If, however, we switch over to Animal Kingdom-Kidani Village (Savannah View), we'll save just shy of $1500...and that's without changing anything else on our package.

I just don't know what to do!

We LOVE BCV. We love SAB...Cape May...Location to Epcot...Location to BW...theming...EVERYTHING.

On the other hand, AKL is gorgeous. My biggest "thing" with it, though, is that it's so far out from everything else. I LOVE being able to walk to Epcot, and I love being able to walk to BW. BCV is just so much more convenient to everything.

But, AKL...DD15, DDs BFF15 and DS6 would likely be mesmerized by the animals out our balcony.

The pool doesn't look as awesome as SAB, but it doesn't look "bad."

The biggest changes I'd have to make is that I'd have to change up a few things rather significantly in terms of our ADRs. Not a big deal because it's still time to get the things that I want, EXCEPT Le Cellier...which, in honesty, I was rethinking anyway.

What should I do? If you've stayed at both places, what would YOU do?

I am a DIE-HARD BCV fan, but for that kind of savings I would probably move.It would be hard for me to convince DH and my 7yr old though..LOL

Thanks for the quick feedback! I guess the question is a moot point. I just talked to MIL and she want to stay at BCV due to the convenience to everything we enjoy doing. She feels (and I think I agree) that the convenience is worth the cost.

Though AKV are just sooooooooo beautiful!!!!

I think if we were going to go for a more relaxing trip - rather than the "commando" I prefer to go - AKL would be better. But, with our current trip plans, BCV makes more sense. ::sigh::

Biggest thing for me at AKL-KV 2 bedroom Villa ... 3 bathrooms. THREE FULL BATHROOMS.

2nd thing, dedicated bus for AKL.

3rd thing, the food at BOMA buffet. Oh my, the breakfast.

4th thing ... THREE FULL BATHROOMS IN THE 2 BEDROOM VILLA!

OK, do you see why my family of six likes AKL-KV?

Now, we love BV, don't get me wrong. But with two teenagers, and two more girls who act like teenagers ... that extra bathroom is crucial.

I also vote Animal Kingdom Villas. The pool play area is pretty cool, Sanaa is excellent (possibly the best meal we have had at WDW best CG and V&A), and there are more bathrooms (as has been said). There is something uniquely relaxing about AKV and there is so much to do in the evenings if you walk over to Jambo.

I know the OP has already decided but it's a shame. AKV Kidani 2 bedrooms are IMO the most gorgeous rooms at WDW.

We are doing a split stay there again with BCV on our October trip. As much as I love BCV, especially during F&W, we absolutely enjoy our time at AKV (and prefer the pool because it's not so chaotic).

The only real solution is to do both AKL and BC this year. We love both resorts!
