Staying in October in 1BR SV. Looking for any tips/suggestions to make the most out of our stay.

For adults, the Wanyama Safari was one of the most interesting/enjoyable things we did. Definitely worth it for us, not sure how kids would like it though.

At both Jambo House and Kidani Village at night there is night vision viewing of the animals using binocs. Both also have storytelling around the campfire. At Jambo House there is drum parade. They teach the children how to play a drum and then they all parade through the lobby area beating their drums. Truthfully there are more things but I just can't remember them all. Plus there are more things to do at the community hall.

I believe for adults there is a wine tasting at Jiko once a week. There was a night vision safari last fall when we were there.

We had a savannah view when we last year and it was the best. We stood on the balcony and watched the giraffes and Watusi below us. It was amazing. We are staying there again in December. Can't wait!

Plan on spending some time at both Kidani and Jambo House - there are pools, gift shops, etc. at both ...

Be sure to look at the actvities calendar you will get at check-in - there is something going on at both resorts just about all the time ...

Boma! Boma! Boma! (for dinner and breakfast ...)

The rocking chairs on the various Savanna overlooks ...

Sit in the Jambo House lobby around dinner time and just inhale .... Nothing quite like it ...
