AKL - Kidani Questions

Hi All,

We are considering booking a Kidani Studio via WDW or a 1 bedroom through renting points (Two adults and a two year old). My questions are:

1. Does housekeeping come in everyday if booked through WDW?
2. Has anyone stayed in a studio with a toddler (she'll be turning 3 on our trip). There is such a huge price difference between the studio (assuming we get a room only or free dining discount) and the 1 bedroom (there is only savanna views left(.

You get daily housekeeping if you book through Disney.

A studio feels the size of a regular hotel room with one of the beds removed and replaced with a love seat. I think for a toddler and two adults it would be perfect.
I don’t really like the studios if the third person is a Disney adult (>9 years old) it starts to feel cramped.

The one bedroom at Kidani is so spacious. It feels like a small apartment. The up side is if you get the 3 year old to sleep, you still have a room to hang out

As TeeKo said, you will get daily housekeeping if you book a cash reservation through WDW. I have stayed in a studio with a younger child and it was just fine. Will your child be in a pack-and-play or the pullout? Either way, we loved having the sofa during the day (my DS slept in the pullout at night). It made the room feel more spacious. The one-bedrooms are fantastic, but if there is a huge price difference, the studio works well for 2 adults and a small child.

Just another thought . . . a savannah view might be a nice thing for you to enjoy if your toddler still naps.

She is 50/50 on naps right now - not sure what she'll be like 6 months from now. We did book the 1 bedroom Savannah! I love AKL and so excited to stay at Kidani (we've only been at Jambo although we've eaten at Sanaa many times).

We always request lowest floor, near transportation. That has almost always put us on the second floor near the lobby. With a savannah view room, we are much happier at Kidani bc of proximity to the animals.

If you are at Kidani, parking is under the building, so you can park close to your villa no matter where it is located in the building. You just take the specific elevator up to your floor.
