Hi Boardies -

We will have 9 people staying in a Kidani 2 bedroom. One of those 9 is a 2 year old who is too large for a pack -n- play. Our plan is to use the sleeper chair for him.

I cannot find any photos of the chair extended. Is it high off the ground at all? Has anyone had experience with it? Did you get/should we get bed rails? :confused3

Thanks for your thoughts!

My son used the sleeper chair last year, and he was 11. It is NOT high off the ground - a 2yo could easily get in and out safely.

OTOH, my DD used the pack & play voluntarily even at age 6. She was more comfy having her own little cozy space than sharing a sofa bed with her two siblings! :rolleyes1 I've worked in preschools and it's hard for me to imagine a 2yo too BIG to sleep in one. Now, "won't" is a different story! ;)

I don't know anything about the sleeper chairs but our DS also used a Pack N Play until he was at least 3 or 3 1/2 for when we were traveling etc.

Our DGD age 5 just loves her own little bed, the pack and play, at WDW!

My 2 year old was too tall for a pack n play so we requested a full size crib which was big enough for me

Our 4 year old was able to crawl out of the pack n play around 2, so he decided he wanted to build a bed under the kitchen bar. He finds a place to build one at each resort. We have used bed rails once or twice and just requested them once we arrived. It all depends on his mood when we arrive, so we just roll with it :)

This was my 9 year old sleeping in the chair in our 2 bedroom villa at Kidani. He was very comfortable, seems safe for getting in and out and does have the sides of the chair up near the upper half of his body.

Hope that helps a little!
