Had the greatest time. We received a Free upgrade from standard to Savannah View. I didnt request anything and we even had the 7 for 4 disney visa package and went through a travel agent and checked in about 10:30PM. We were given the Uzima savannah(zebra trail) and it was quite a walk from the lobby, but well worth it. we had zebra, giraffe, wildabeasts, nelands(?) and the cows with the huge horns(cant remember the name) outside our windows every day. House keeping did towel animals for us twice. we had boma for breakfast and it was great. I just loved the resort. Transportation wasnt the greatest it was atleast a 20 minute wait for the buses to arrive. we only were lucky to have a bus waiting for us once. But i did hear the bus driver state that they were understaffed and training some new employees. so hopefully this will improve. we also had the free refrigerater already in our room.

Glad to hear you had a good trip. We will be staying there in Dec. I've read many mixed reviews. My DD will be celebrating her 6th bday. Thanks for sharing with us.

Glad you had such a great time! AKL is one our favorite resorts! We've stayed there twice-love the pool!
